Cooking is an unspoken language, yet it speaks so loudly. It reveals how you feel without ever needing words.
For me, cooking is first and foremost an escape. It’s the place where everything quiets down and I can simply focus on creating turning ingredients into art, and food into something meaningful.
I love showing people what they mean to me through the meals I prepare. I truly believe that almost every single one of my clients has tasted my food at some point, because feeding people is one of the deepest ways I know how to care for them.
I have cooked for my clients in their darkest hours through mourning, divorce, illness, and heartbreak. And I’ve also cooked and baked for them in their moments of joy birthdays, celebrations, and milestones.
Sometimes I don’t even knock. I simply leave something by their door and send a message saying, “Go outside… I left you something.”
And those small gestures resonate. They remind people that someone was thinking about them. That they were on someone’s mind.
Because they truly are always on my mind.
And I believe there is nothing more touching than knowing that in a quiet moment of your life, someone else was thinking about you.
